How do I contact Oxford's service department?

How do I register a user name and password as a Member?

Return to the home page and click on the link labeled Need a User Name?. On the next screen, select "Member" from the drop-down menu and click on the REGISTER button. This will bring you to a registration page, where you must verify your Social Security number and date of birth. Next, choose a user name and password. A common error occurs when a new user chooses a user name that has already been chosen by another Oxford user. Please modify your request if this occurs.

Some additional tips for registering:

  • When entering your Oxford ID number, do not include the asterisk, but be sure to include the two digits after the asterisk.
  • Usernames must be 5-10 characters, but not case sensitive.
  • Passwords must be 8-32 characters long and they are case-sensitive.
  • Passwords cannot contain spaces, your username, or any previous passwords.
  • Passwords must use at least three of the following: an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and one of the special characters @ . _ -

I forgot my user name and/or password. What do I do?

For Members:
Go to the
Forgot User Name and/or Change Password page. You will be asked for your Oxford ID number, Social Security number, and date of birth. Once this information is submitted, you will be given the options to change your password or continue to the log in page.

For Providers:
Go to the Forgot User Name and/or Change Password page. You will be asked for your Oxford ID number, FTIN or Social Security number, and date of birth. Once this information is submitted, you will be given the options to change your password or continue to the log in page.

For Employers, Healthcare Facilities, and Brokers:
Call Oxford's Technical Support at 800-811-0881, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.


I entered my user name and password. Why doesn't it work?

For Members:
First, please make sure that your username does not contain an asterisk. Also, please note that the username field is case-sensitive (i.e., it recognizes a difference between capital letters and lower-case letters). Your username must be 5-10 characters, and your password must be 8-32 characters long and cannot contain spaces, your username, or any previous passwords and must use at least three of the following: an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and one of the special characters @ . _ -. If you've previously logged in to oxfordhealth.com using your assigned ID number and PIN, enter your ID number in the username field and your PIN in the password field.

For Employers, Healthcare Facilities, Providers and Brokers:

How can I change my user name online?

Once you've logged in, select "Change User Name" (Member, Provider) from the list of options on your left. Please select a user name that has 5-10 characters.


How secure is my information when viewed on this web site?

Oxford Health Plans recently completed an 18-month ICSA TrueSecure Web Certification process to help increase protection of the privacy of your data displayed through this web site. The ICSA certification is designed to ensure that web sites and their supporting security and operational environments are consistent with industry best practices. The ICSA certification criteria are difficult to pass and many sites never reach certification. The Oxford Health Plans site passed certification. We have listed some of the comments contained in our ICSA assessment report:

I cannot access my claims or benefits online.

Your Internet browser may be configured improperly. Be sure that you can access secure servers and that your browser is set to accept cookies. If you are not sure how to do this, consult your browser's help section or your Internet service provider's technical support.


I cannot view claims for other Members in my family.

In order to view an individual family member's account information, you will need to register each family member with his or her own user name and password. Each family member must have a unique user name; however, the password may be the same for each user.
