|Oxford has always been committed to giving its Members the healthcare choices they desire. Our Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) program is another way we support our Members on their individual paths toward health and wellness.
In 1997, Oxford became one of the first major health plans to offer a Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Program with a credentialed network of providers. Today, our network has grown to over 2,400 alternative providers in the tri-state area, all of whom are recredentialed every three years.
Oxford Medicare Advantage Members can access Oxford's complementary and alternative medicine network in their service area at a contracted rate.
You simply select a complementary and alternative medicine provider from our roster, schedule an appointment, and pay the Oxford-negotiated rate directly to the provider at the time of your visit. You do not need a primary care physician (PCP) referral, and no paperwork is required. Our complementary and alternative medicine network includes the following providers:
The complementary and alternative medicine program is neither offered nor guaranteed under Oxford Health Plans contract with the Medicare program, but is made available to all Oxford Medicare Advantage Members.
The complementary and alternative medicine program is not subject to the Medicare appeals process. Any disputes regarding the complementary and alternative medicine program may be subject to the Oxford Medicare Advantage grievance process.
